Application for the 2025 IATSS Forum has been closed.

Eligibility

1Applicants must possess the nationality of one of the following countries.
Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam -
2Applicants should be 35 years old or younger.

3Applicants should have at least 2 years of full-time professional job experience
To apply to the IATSS Forum program, please read the instructions and information below, download the application booklet and forms, and submit the required documents to each country's secretariat via post-mail or the online application page at the bottom of this page.
Target Candidates
We are looking for candidates who display the following characteristics.
Leadership
- Candidates who have experience leading a team within an organization and a recognition of their own areas of improvement in their own leadership
- Candidates who understand the values of “co-creative/collaborative leadership” which maximizes the diversity of team members towards a common goal working with members from different cultural and professional backgrounds.
Awareness of the Issues and Desire to Make Change
- Candidates who have awareness of the issues facing their own countries and communities and the motivation to take on a leadership role for the future sustainable development of the region.
Capacity and Potential
- Candidates who have broad range of skills, experience and expertise which can be shared and will contribute to the training program.
- Candidates who have sufficient level of English to be able to share their knowledge and experiences in lectures, group discussions and meetings.
- Candidates who have the potential to gain what they lack by participating in the IATSS Forum, and make use of this potential for their own future and for the good of other people.
Attitude
- Candidates who are disciplined and independent in a diversified environment and who have a positive attitude toward learning from and respecting others.
- Candidates who have a motivation to develop their own ability proactively in a diversified setting.
- Candidates who are clear about what they want to gain from the IATSS Forum and have goals that are in line with the contents of IATSS Forum.

Annual Schedule
- Applications are accepted once a year.
- Application Period: from June 1st to September 30th, 2024
- Application Documents : All of the documents listed below must be submitted to the applicant's Country Committee Secretariat via post-mail or the online application page at the bottom of this page.
- Screenings take place in two stages: document-based and interview-based. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview. The time of the interview varies by country. Please keep in mind that only those who have been shortlisted will be notified of the interview date and time.

Carefully read through the application booklet, complete the documents in English. -
2Submit your documents by one of the following methods
1) Uploading your documents online
We encourage you to use online application method whenever possible as your documents will arrive quickly, easily and safely. For details, please see the submission steps described in the next section.
2) Postal service
You may put your documents in an envelope, attach the right postage, and send it to the address of your IATSS Forum Country Committee Secretariat through the post office.
(Contact information for the country secretariats can be found on the last page of the Application Booklet.)
NOTE
Please do not upload copies of your documents online if you're submitting them using the postal service. Sending in multiple sets of documents will delay the processing of your application or may lose an opportunity to be screened.
Sending the documents by email is not recommended since your message with many attachments may exceeds the size limit of your recipient's server. Please contact the IATSS Forum country secretariat in advance if you wish to send your documents by email for some reasons.
How to Submit Application Online

1Prepare the application documents
Carefully read through the application booklet, complete the documents in English, and convert the Word documents into PDF.
When uploading the necessary application documents online, scanned image files in formats such as JPEG and PNG, created by a scanner, are acceptable as long as the images are clear and the appropriate size. Please refrain from submitting images of printed documents taken with a smartphone or camera, as these photographs may lose accuracy when enlarged to a readable size.
Please rename the files by adding your nickname to the head of the file name (e.g. Abby_Application Form) before proceeding to the online application page. -
2Sign in to your Google account
You need to sign in to your Google account to access the online application page.
For optimal viewing, we recommend using Google Chrome browser while signed in to your Google account.
If you do not have a Google account, you need to create one in order to upload files on the online application page. -
3Upload the application documents online
Once you have all the required documents in PDF or image format ready to submit, please upload them online by clicking the "Online Application" button corresponding to your country (nationality) below.
It is recommended that you use a PC, not mobile devices, to submit documents from the Online Application page.
When you fill in the online application form while signing into your Google account, your progress will be automatically saved as a draft for 30 days from your last edit. If you are unable to complete the online application in one sitting, please make sure to sign into the same Google account to resume the process.
