The 10th International Alumni Meeting, was held on December 3rd and 4 th 2022. It was the first IAM that was held online. The 10th IAM was originally planed to be held in Singapore in 2020, inviting IATSS Forum alumni members. Due to the pandemic of COVID-19, the meeting was held online over two days hosted by SIFA (Singapore IATSS Forum Alumni.) The theme of the IAM was “Sustainability in a Time of Crisis.” Based on the theme, representatives of IATSS Forum alumni associations reported the initiatives taken in their countries as well as in alumni associations toward sustainability in society. On each day, several guest speakers based in Singapore were invited to introduce their initiatives and actions taken toward sustainability in their industry and share their perspectives. The IAM led the attendees to get inspired by new perspectives and ideas in the field that could be applied to their work and life in their home countries. At the same time, it served an important role to help the attendees reconnect with each other for the first time in a while

• The 9th International Alumni Meeting (IAM) was held from 7th December to 10th December, 2018. More than 100 alumni members from 9 South East Asian countries and Japan gathered in the UNESCO’s World Heritage town, Luang Prabang, Laos.
• Participants gained various ideas for the further development of the alumni associations through the introduction of alumni activities in each of the participating countries, topic based group discussion and theme based field studies.
• We look forward to seeing each and every participant’s future success, as an alumni member and as a leader in their professional field, utilizing new ideas and strengthened networks beyond countries and batches in this 9th IAM.

• In December 2015, the 8th International Alumni Meeting was held in Yangon, Myanmar. Approximately 150 people attended the event including IATSS Forum alumni members, chairpersons from respective country committees and other guests.
• At the event, each alumni association discussed and proposed action plans based on the IATSS Forum’s New Vision and plan of operations. Throughout this meeting, the network and friendship beyond countries was strengthened and the need for reinforcing further partnership between Japan and respective countries was also confirmed.
